Squirrel in Kensington Gardens... very tame and would come up quite close to you if they think you have food for them.

Strawberry-picking

Having missed a few strawberry-picking seasons, we decided we have to go pick strawberries before we miss this season too. Went to Sunclose Farm on Butt Lane, Milton, just outside Cambridge.

Wicked! (The Musical)

Went to see Wicked on Friday night 13 August, which was brilliant! Queued from 9am for day tickets and managed to get 2nd last pair of front row tickets. The first guy in the queue was reportedly there from 6am, and the second guy from 8am. The cast were all great and they seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I highly recommend it!

Our books

It's been nearly 2 years since our books have seen the light of day. They were in boxes in Sydenham for 6 months, then in boxes in Cambridge for 17 months... there were about 40 boxes... 2 have gone to a good home with a friend, and 10 will hopefully go to good homes via oxfam. It was a sad day when those boxes went to oxfam - although being a well-run charity, hopefully they will take good care of them and distribute them to the most appropriate place so that our beloved books will be acquired by loving people who will love them as much as we do.

And the remaining books that we can still count as ours are now in sevenseas shipping boxes - 18 of them (each weighing 30kg)... collected today in a sevenseas van and embarking on their journey over land and sea to Singapore. I wonder what stories they would tell of their journey if they could talk.
